One Page Armchair
One Page is an armchair with an enveloping shell designed by Ron Arad for the Moroso brand.
One Page is freely inspired by the idea of a folded page, ready to welcome and embrace those who sit for total relaxation. Designer Ron Arad's design idea was developed by modeling a rigid polyurethane load-bearing structure for the exterior and flexible polyurethane padding for the interior. The One Page armchair has a five-star swivel base in die-cast aluminum and is available with or without a tilt mechanism. The footrest is made using a similar production technology.
Designed by Ron Arad
Ron Arad is a designer and architect of Israeli origin. Born in Tel Aviv in 1951, he studied at the Jerusalem Academy of Art and subsequently at the Architectural Association in London. In 1981, he founded the One Off production studio with Dennis Groves and Caroline Thorman, and in 1989 he founded the architecture and design firm Ron Arad Associates. His designs are the result of continuous experimentation and combinations of materials such as steel, aluminum, and polyamide. Attention to form is at the heart of his artistic philosophy, evident in all his works: from bookcases to chairs, from armchairs and sofas to vases and other furnishing elements. The designer collaborates with Kartell, Moroso, Magis, Driade, Vitra, Alessi, Cappellini, Cassina, and many other internationally renowned brands, and his works have been exhibited in the most important museums and galleries worldwide.
